Refund Policy

Deposits

A £50 security deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your rental for the selected dates. This deposit is refundable upon the safe return of the dress in its original condition. Any fees for damage, excessive wear, cleaning, or late return will be deducted before the remaining balance is refunded.
Please note: the security deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

Payment

Full payment—including the rental fee and the security deposit—must be made at the time of booking. If the dress is being delivered, a delivery charge will be added to the total.

Cancellations

If you cancel your booking 14 days or more before your event date, the rental fee (excluding the £50 deposit) can be issued as a credit to be used toward a future hire. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Condition: All dresses are inspected before rental. Any existing damage will be noted. The dress should be returned in the same condition. Please inspect the dress the day it is received and notify us if there is an issue that prevents you from wearing the dress. You must notify us the same day you receive the dress.

Damage: If the dress is returned damaged, stained, or beyond normal wear and tear, repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit. If irreparable damage is caused the renter is liable for the full replacement value. Please DO NOT attempt to undertake any repairs, the dress is the property of Grace and Glamour Dress Hire. 

Cleaning: Please DO NOT attempt to wash or dry clean the dress, due to delicate fabrics we use a specialist dry cleaners, the renter will be responsible for any damage caused if the dress is taken to a dry cleaners or washed. The cost of cleaning is included in your rental.

Ironing: Please DO NOT attempt to iron or hand steam the dresses, great care is taken with packaging but some creasing may be inevitable, it is ok to hang the dress in a room with a shower creating steam, ensuring the dress does not get wet. Any marks or damage caused by ironing will result in irreparable damage and render the dress unusable, thereby incurring the full RRP cost of the dress being charged to you, the renter.
